Last I left your was I was 30-something weeks pregnant. Phew! A lot has changed since then!
My last few weeks at work were good! I had my replacement start two weeks before I left so I could show her the ropes and get settled into the role, of which she had no problems doing! I tied up all my loose ends and handed over every thing to her.
My last day was very emotional. My team and other colleagues gave me a lovely presentation and my boss did a lovely speech for me! My pregnancy hormones must have really kicked in at this stage because all I could do was blubber through a small speech about how great it was to work with them, how much I'll miss them and to all look after eachother while I am gone! We then had lovely team christmas lunch party.
For the next four weeks I sat and caught up on my tv watching, took small walks (it was hot and I was heavy), spent time with family and friends over Christmas and New Year.
On New Years Eve my 3rd nephew was born. Hamish Kevin Peacock, born to Dan and Emma by c-section around 8.30am weighing 8lb15oz. We went to visit them that afternoon.
On New Years Day we spent the day at my Aunts.

We had a lovely day, but the heat was really getting to me and I was getting tired! But it was so exciting- a new year, a new chapter in our lives that would change us forever.
